Winter Sports in the Alps

Either Italy or France, by air or road, depending on numbers etc.

December - April weekend trips

Estimated Cost £150 for travel and accommodation; lift passes £15 per day.

Normandie - A J Hackett Normandie bungy jumping cheap and cheerful trip to France, with beaches and wine thrown in! The bungy site also boasts a Flying Fox ride and downhill karting, and a friendly cafe/bar!

The original DASC Trip, Friday night to Sunday evening.

Various weekends

Costs just £140 for travel and accommodation, jumps are around £40 inclusive of T-shirt.

 

007 Goldeneye plus Valais-Pur Sports & Adventure Park - Sierre plus A J Hackett Normandie

The James Bond stunt jump from a massive dam, and Switzerland's most spidery bungy jump from 170m, where there's also the world's scariest Giant Swing, and a bent-stick braked Tyrolina...amongst other ways to scare yourself! Finally a trip to Normandie to wind down with a 200ft dive into some river water!

Long Weekends

Thursday night to Monday night.

Cost estimate: £250 (road) plus jumps etc.

Prague - using bungy jumping and swinging from a bridge as an excuse to visit!

There's also a bar with a climbing wall we might drop in on...

Summer Weekend

Cost Estimate: £250 for flights, and a city hotel!

German Helibungy Trip

300m jump from a helicopter in Germany!

Leave Friday night, jump on Sunday, find that nice beer cellar again and explore some local sights, might avoid the glass roof sliding this time!

Summer

Cost: £250 (air) including hotel and travel, plus jump (£130?).

Queenstown : New Zealand (Queenstown website)

A pilgrimage to the spiritual home of crazy sports! Bungy jump from scenic bridges, a clifftop and a purpose built cable car; jetboating and whitewater raftinging in Skippers Canyon. Then there's winter sports, paragliding, all sorts of flying...oh - go and read a guide book!

Depart: Friday night, fly to Christchurch to arrive Sunday morning. Hire cars picked up and we head off into the heart of South Island. We'll spend 10 days in and around Queenstown, and another 4 days exploring up to Kaikoura for whale watching and swimming with dolphins. Accommodation will be apartment in Queenstown and motel in Kaikoura/Christchurch. Flights back to Heathrow for Sunday lunchtime.

Winter in Summer!!

Cost: £1350, including flights, accommodation and all ground travel in NZ.
