DASC Trips

PREVIOUS TRIPS FUTURE TRIPS

The DASC arranges many trips around the UK, Europe and beyond to try out all kinds of sports that involve flying or falling (getting wet is a bonus too!). Many of our regular participants have tried their hands at parachuting, gliding, ballooning, kite buggying and BIG bungy jumps (our most common activity). Recent trips have included the world's highest commercial bungy jumps from a cable car in Switzerland (the height above the ground was 1000 feet [around 300m] and the jump had an initial drop of about 9 seconds!!) and a helicopter in Germany flying at 400m.

We are always looking for new people to come along and join in on the trips. Complete beginners and spectators are always welcome too (fun loving people preferred!!). To get more of an idea about what we get up to, you can read our earlier or more recent trip reports. A description of the aims of the DASC and the reasons it was started has also been written by the club president.

All our trips are very informal and the emphasis is on having fun (as the reports show!) We cut costs wherever we can and don't make profits so the trips work out surprisingly cheaply; however the clubs and sites that we visit are always very reputable as SAFETY is the prime concern.

You can also have a look at some of the trips being planned for the future or be updated about all forthcoming trips and events by joining our email list.
