The DASC arranges many trips around the UK, Europe and beyond to try out all kinds of sports that involve flying or falling (getting wet is a bonus too!). Many of our regular participants have tried their hands at parachuting, gliding, ballooning, kite buggying and BIG bungy jumps (our most common activity). A recent trip included the world's highest commercial bungy jump from a cable car in Switzerland. The height above the ground was 1000 feet [around 300m] and the jump had an initial drop of about 9 seconds!!
We are always looking for new people to come along and join in on the trips. Complete beginners and spectators are always welcome too (fun loving people preferred!!). To get more of an idea about what we get up to, you can read our earlier or more recent trip reports.
All our trips are very informal and the emphasis is on having fun (as the reports show!) We cut costs wherever we can and don't make profits so the trips work out surprisingly cheaply; however the clubs and sites that we visit are always very reputable as SAFETY is the prime concern.
